Test Engineer/Software Deployment - CoDev

For our client we are looking for a Test Engineer/Software Deployment - CoDev.Our ChallengeCo-Development (CoDev) is an initiative where we turn our employees’ company cars into test vehicles to ensure we provide the best experience to our consumers. The CoDev drivers are a crucial part in our quality work by providing feedback via an app, having log equipment in their cars that collects vehicle data as well as by participating in user studies and surveys.The CoDev Update teamThis team is part of CoDev that focuses mainly on the vehicles to ensure that the CoDev cars are updated and prepared for tests and data collection. Hence the team’s name, CoDev Update. This team handles all tests running in the cars, where most of the tests are for the latest products or with the coming technology. Today most of are tests are software related, with a focus towards propulsion and connected services and this position specifically is for software updates in the vehicles. Those include Over The Air (OTA) updates, VIDA and DSA.Who are you?You have a lot of energy and take your own initiatives, and a true team player with strong communication skills. We are a small team and therefore it’s essential that you share tasks and information. You are analytic and organized, able to keep track of several tasks running in parallel. It will be an advantage to have a good personal network in our workshops, quality departments andother departments connected to aftermarket as well as documented skills from a workshop, working with Software download (PGW, OTAmatic, VIDA, OTA, DSA), fault tracing and of course all applicable IT systems.Skills:Knowledge of how to use PIE and understand the software structure, PGW, OTAmatic and OTA diagnostic tools. Understanding of the software and electrical topology structure in the carB driver’s licenseStrong analysis skillsGreat communication skills in English and Swedish (both verbal and written)MeriteriousVIDA as well as diagnostic and software download programs for development is meriting
