We are looking for a PLM Operational Transition Consultant (Project Manager) for our Client in the manufacturing industryAssignment description Background We are entering a critical phase of a large-scale Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) program, where key program components are transitioning from program delivery to steady-state operations. To ensure a smooth, aligned, and sustainable transition, we are seeking an experienced PLM Operational Transition Lead. The PLM Operational Transition Lead will drive and facilitate the establishment of a governance structure across the two operational departments that will receive the program deliveries. A crucial part of the work is creating the future operating model. This will require facilitation and alignment on different organizational levels, and solid communication and involvement skills throughout the engagement. Key responsibilities Lead the design and delivery of the PLM operating model, covering governance, accountability, roles & responsibilities, processes, decision forums, and integration with existing operational setups where relevantPlan and facilitate the work including a wide range of stakeholders (business, IT, operations, governance bodies, vendors)Drive progress and decision-making in complex, multi-stakeholder settingsSecure buy-in and approvals of governance structure and operating model, translated into clear, actionable operational artifactsAct as a neutral facilitator yet firm and decisive and challenge constructively but push for progress to keep momentumEnsure the operational organizations are ready to receive program deliverables from 3rd quarter 2026Qualification criteria - required experience & skills Proven experience delivering governance setup and operating models in large manufacturing companiesStrong facilitation, communication and stakeholder management skills, including CxO levelAt home when communicating with mid-top tier management, preparing decision materials and enabling alignmentDemonstrated ability to drive decisions, not just discussionsExcellent coordination and planning skills across multiple teams and workstreamsAbility to facilitate and support the documentation of (new) processes Extensive experience working in environments where solutions are transitioning from program to steady-state operations Structured, pragmatic, and outcome-oriented working styleYou have 8-15 years of experience as a business consultant, with business transformation and project management skillsYou have worked with similar challenges and can share references that can support your achievementsNice to have Hands-on experience with PLM platforms (e.g. Teamcenter, Windchill, 3DEXPERIENCE) Background in manufacturing, engineering, or product-driven organizationsA history from Accenture, CapGemini, BCG, PWC or similar is an advantageStart date: 15-03-2026End date: 31-12-2026Location: Bjerringbro, Denmark For the duration of this assignment Ework Services (0,7%) will be deducted from the total amount invoiced.We offer candidates continuously.
