Electrical Safety SpecialistIndustry: Industrial Robotics & Advanced AutomationOur client within the industrial robotics and automation industry is looking for an experienced Electrical Safety Specialist to ensure that robotic systems, robot cells, and automated machinery comply with global electrical safety standards.You will act as a technical authority across the product lifecycle — from early R&D to certification and market release — ensuring electrical risks are identified, mitigated, and properly documented.Key ResponsibilitiesPerform and review electrical safety risk assessmentsEnsure compliance with IEC / EN 60204-1, ISO 10218, NFPA 79, UL standards, and EU Machinery RegulationReview electrical schematics and system designs for safety complianceAdvise on grounding, protective devices, isolation, emergency stops, and arc flash risksSupport audits, certifications, and external regulatory bodies (e.g., UL, TÜV)Collaborate with R&D, production, HSE, and quality teamsRequired ProfileDegree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or similarSolid experience with electrical systems in industrial machinery or roboticsStrong knowledge of IEC, EN, UL, and NFPA standardsAbility to interpret standards and translate them into practical engineering requirementsFluent in EnglishPreferred: Experience with robot cells, certification processes, arc flash risk assessment, and global product environments.This is a hands-on, high-impact role for someone who combines technical depth with a pragmatic, solution-oriented mindset.Application deadlineWe review applications on an ongoing basis.
