Assignment Description:To provide the technical backbone for deg efficient workstations, layouts, and flows. This includes time studies, optimizing space, evaluating equipment, and analyzing ERP/WMS data to ensure the new DC design is efficient and scalable.Main TasksConduct time studies to define: Standard times, Capacity needs, Staffing estimates, Create CAD layouts for: Storage areas, Picking/packing stations, Goods receiving, Internal transport flowsAssess ergonomic requirements and propose workstation designs. Identify needed lifting aids, automation, and equipment.Analyze ERP/WMS data to:Validate space requirements, Validate workflow design, Support equipment sizing decisionsDeliverablesFull CAD layout (iterative versions + final draft), Time study report with cycle times and capacity calculations, Workstation design concepts, Equipment needs list including: Lifting tools, Packing tables, Trolleys/carts, Racking, Storage bins, Special machineryData analysis summary (SKU behavior, order profiles)Input to total investment estimatRequirements1-3 years experience as Industrial Engineer, Process Engineer, Logistics Engineer, or similar.Strong experience with: Time studies, CAD layout design (AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar), Lean methods (5S, SMED, value stream mapping), Warehouse or production workstation design, Selecting warehouse equipment (racking, lifts, conveyors, packing stations)Experience analyzing ERP/WMS data to understand: SKU velocity, Transaction volumes, Storage requirements, Picking/packing workloadValued qualificationsCAD tools, Time study methodologies, Workflow analysis, Workstation ergonomics. Understanding safety, ergonomics, and regulatory requirements.Analytical Competence. Ability to extract and analyze: Order lines, Receiving volumes, Storage dimensions, Historical picking profilesConnect data findings to layout proposalsOperational Knowledge and understanding of operational flows in warehouses or manufacturing. Experience deg or improving: Kit assembly stations, Goods receiving areas, Picking strategies, Packing benches, Dispatch zonesPersonal characteristicsContinouos improvement mindset, communicative and a team player.
