Functional Safety Assessment and Product Audit

For one of our clients in Gothenburg we are looking for consultant/consultantsIntroductionOur client requests quotations for execution of a Functional Safety Assessment (FSA) according to ISO 26262:2018, including a Product Audit.The assessment shall cover all safety items with at least one ASIL C or ASIL D safety goal.A complete list of safety items in scope is provided in the attached Excel file.BackgroundThe P611 project is mainly based on the ZEEA2.5 electrical architecture, complemented by selected elements from GEEA2.0, SPA2, and components developed specifically for P611. Polestar’s contribution is to ensure that these architectural elements are suitable in the P611 context, integrating them where appropriate and adapting them when necessary to align with the P611 architecture and Polestar’s organizational setup.Polestar is responsible for the applicable ISO 26262 activities within P611, including the Concept Phase, Product Development at the System Level, and Production, Operation, Service, and Decommissioning. This responsibility covers the Management of Functional Safety, all relevant Supporting Processes, and the ASIL‑oriented and safety‑oriented analyses required for these lifecycle phases.Where Polestar has sourced new suppliers, Polestar ensures that they receive the correct and complete safety‑related requirements and that their fulfilment of these obligations is continuously monitored through safety‑focused joint reviews. For elements that are reused without new development from the platform, Polestar verifies that the original platform requirements and safety assumptions remain adequate and valid for the P611 context.Assignment descriptionPlease see the attached document for information regarding Scope, Deliverables and requested timeline.
