For our client, we are looking for an intermediate Project Manager to drive operational workstreams within an ongoing Distribution Center (DC) build project.Assignment DescriptionYou will drive the operational workstreams (kit production, goods receiving, pick & pack, dispatch), ensuring quality, consistency, momentum, and alignment with the overall DC build project.This role bridges strategy and execution, ensuring operational managers remain focused and that deliverables are completed on time.Main TasksRun weekly alignment meetings with each operational managerTrack actions across all workstreams and escalate risks when neededValidate workflow decisions and ensure proper documentationSupport Operations Managers in structuring and prioritizing tasksYou will also coordinate closely with the Industrial Engineer regarding:Layout impactEquipment implicationsTime study outputsAdditionally, you will:Ensure workstation and process decisions remain consistent across the DCDrive the timeline toward final layout, equipment list, tooling and workstation design, and vendor shortlistingPrepare decision-making material for leadershipDeliverablesProcess maps for all operational flowsClear requirements for each operational areaInput to layout design (activity areas, material flows, workstation needsA consolidated equipment & tools investment lisWeekly progress and status reportsRequirements1–3 years of experience within supply chain, warehouse operations, or productionProven project management experience within warehouse operations, new site/startup, or manufacturing environmentsExperience with WMS/ERP-driven processes (e.g., goods receiving, picking optimization, inventory flows)Experience coordinating multiple functional stakeholdersExperience working in a lean warehouse or manufacturing environmentPrevious involvement in layout changes, workstation design, or equipment deployment is considered a strong advantage.QualificationsProject & LeadershipStrong ability to coordinate cross-functional teamsSkilled in timeline planning, follow-up, risk management, and structured weekly steerinAbility to translate high-level goals into clear, actionable tasksStrong written, visual, and verbal communication skillsOperations & Logistics Knowledge(Solid understanding of:)Goods receiving flowKit preparationPicking methodologies (batch, zone, wave)Packing, dispatch, and freight flowsInventory accuracy and material movement logicTools & SystemsComfortable working with Excel and/or Power BI for light data analysisExperience using Visio (or similar tools) for process mappingSolid understanding of WMS/ERP logicPersonal CharacteristicsAnalytical and structuredCommunicative and supportiveTarget-focused and delivery-orientedStart: ASAPDuration: JuneWork Load: 50-80%Location: ÖrebroLanguage: English & Swedish For the duration of this assignment Ework Services (0,7%) will be deducted from the total amount invoiced.
