Description

We are looking for a seasoned and hands-on Project Manager to take full end-to-end delivery ownership of a cross-functional initiative within Scania. You will own planning, execution, communication, test coordination, go-live, and hypercare

  • ensuring full alignment with Scania’s governance model and ways of working.You are highly structured, proactive, and comfortable driving alignment across business, IT, and external partners. The assignment requires strong leadership in complex delivery environments with multiple parallel workstreams.Key ResponsibilitiesProject Management & GovernanceDefine project scope, objectives, milestones, and deliverablesDrive the project according to Scania’s governance model and stage gatesDelivery OversightTrack progress against plan and milestonesEnsure readiness across design, build, testing, and cutoverCoordinate all testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression)Change & Communication ManagementDrive business readiness and user adoptionCoordinate training activitiesEnsure documentation and structured knowledge transferPlan and execute hypercareGo-Live & HypercareEnsure go-live readiness and approve go-live checklistsCoordinate cutover activities across teamsEnsure structured post–go-live supportFormally close the project and capture lessons learnedCross-Functional LeadershipDrive communication and collaboration across internal and external teamsOwn project planning, reporting, and follow-upEnsure alignment across environments and delivery streamsRequirementsMust-HaveProven experience as a Project Manager in complex IT or business transformation initiativesStrong understanding of governance, stage gates, and structured delivery modelsHands-on experience managing and coordinating testing phases (SIT, UAT, regression)Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple parallel delivery streams and stakeholdersStrong communication and facilitation skills, comfortable working with both business and ITExperience leading projects through go-live, cutover, and hypercareExperience driving documentation, readiness activities, and structured knowledge transferNice-to-HaveExperience from Scania or similar large enterprise/industrial environmentsBackground in ERP, financial systems, or workflow/process-related initiativesExperience working with external suppliers and multi-vendor setupsAbility to work independently while adhering to established governance and standards
