Fullstack Developer - Python

We are now looking for a Fullstack Developer - Python on the behalf of our client, Telenor. Background:We are transitioning from a long-term consultant and need to strengthen our in-house Python expertise. As a small team managing a large number of applications, we require someone who can take ownership, drive initiatives forward, and quickly build an understanding of our systems. The consultant must be able to proactively identify and resolve future bugs or issues, ensuring stability and continuity in our delivery.Technical Information:PythonMySQLPostgresResponsibilities & deliverables:We are looking for a senior or strong mid-level backend developer with solid Python expertise and proven experience working in production environments. The consultant should quickly understand and contribute to a large existing codebase, take responsibility for stability, automation, integrations and work independently.Key responsibilities include:Owning and maintaining parts of the systemTroubleshooting, supporting operations, and monitoring automated flowsDriving continuous improvements and ensuring system stabilityFollowing internal security practices and upholding high coding standardsRequired skills: Strong skills in PythonSolid backend development experience in production systemsExperience building and maintaining APIs, integrations, and database logicGood understanding of secure coding and development practicesWorking according to established security routines and policiesExperience with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD)Comfortable working in console-based and Unix environmentsPreferred skills:Experience with PHPJavaScript and frontend libraries (e.g., Nodejs, Vue)Soft skills/Personality traits: Self-driven: takes responsibility from idea through to productionSolution-oriented: structured problem solver who finds practical paths forwardHumble/Collaborative: shares knowledge and supports the team without prestigeConfident in their craft: capable of making informed technical decisionsResponsible: especially regarding security, stability, and code qualityBringing an innovative mindset: identifying opportunities to improve workflows or solutions through A.IStart: ASAPEnd: 2027-02-17Location: StockholmWorkload: 100%Remote work: Yes, 2 days a weekWe will present candidates on an ongoing basis.
