Description

For our client we are looking for a Senior System Developer.Description: Named Technology & Innovation, we are a cross-functional team consisting of Designers (Interior light, Exterior light, HMI, Motion) and Software Engineers (Light/Sound algorithms, Unity/Android, Embedded/Driver, Front-end software etc). Now we are looking for a Senior System Developer to strengthen the team. Communication, collaboration, open mindset and team spirit should be the cornerstones of everything you do. Skills are next. The core tasks for this role consists of rapid prototyping of image/video/audio processing tools and lighting function concepts, using a variety of software languages and tools. This might be pure software like algorithm design, a tool with both front-end and back-end for efficient workflow, or a combination of software and hardware for demonstration. So, proficiency in various languages, C++, Python, or Embedded-C is fundamental, plus good understanding of system design and software architecture. Additionally, a good understanding of networking protocols like MQTT and WebSocket, bus protocols like CAN, SPI and I2C, would be beneficial for this role. Because of the innovative nature of our team, the ideal teammate shall be able to dive quickly into a new language or tool, to get the job done. Qualifications and skills required for the role:

  • 8+ years Programming experiences with diverse projects.
  • Minimum of 5 years as a C++ developer, preferably worked with algorithm development
  • Proficiency in Python (4+ years) etc scripting languages.
  • Proficiency in HW-close development, like driver software development.
  • Experiences in developing tools with both front-end and back-end.
  • Exhibited expertise in software architecture. Nice-to-haves
  • Knowledge in color space algorithm development.
  • Knowledge in audio processing and image processing algorithms.
  • Experience with opensource embedded hardware like Arduino, Teensy, Raspberry Pi.
  • Embedded-C.
  • Linux shell / Bash / PowerShell.
  • Vehicle protocols such as CAN-FD, CAN, Flexray, LIN. Personal attributes Good communication and collaboration skills. A team player that always has the team's achievement in mind.   • The assignment will take place in our studio in Gothenburg and we have an 'office first' environment with some flexibility to WFH
  • Travel to China may be needed (approx. 2-3 trips per year).
