For our client Husqvarna we are looking for a Mechanical Engineer. Assignment DescriptionMechanical design work/tasks across product life cycle for Petrol chainsaws.TasksDevelop and maintenance of parts and subsystems according to Requirements, Lessons Learned and Design Guidelines.Detailed component design, 3D CATIA (CAD-system) according HVA methodology Take active role in validation of parts/concepts EP-series, prototypes and design samples.Ensure DFM/DFA/DFAAVerification of design by simulation: Moldex, FEA, & Tolerance analysis - Establish geometric specification (drawings) Including updates after Internal and External Drawing Reviews. ECR/ECO handling for assigned components/subsystemsCollaborate with Key Stakeholders. Keep Lead Engineer, Platform Owner and Line Manager updated with status of work. Documentation according to process described in Husqvarna PCP.Required skillsGood knowledge in Husqvarna CAD and PLM system: Catia V5 & SmarTeam or Team centerHigh experience of Product development & Mechanical engineering.Good knowledge in Geometric dimensioning and Tolerancing.Good knowledge in root cause analysisOpen-minded and searching for collaboration and knowledge.Start Date of the Assignment: 2026-02-02Duration of the Assignment: 2026-06-30Location: HuskvarnaEstimated Workload: 100%Division: Husqvarna Forest & Garden DivisionWorking Language: Swedish & EnglishCompetence level: 2 or 3Payment terms: 60 + 3-5 banking days For this client sub-contracting is not preferred.
