We are looking for a freelance Technical Documentation Assistant for one of our Clients in the Food Solutions industryThe roleWe are looking for a structured and detail-oriented Technical Documentation Assistant to support our Clients technical documentation activities. You will join a small, close-knit team within an engineering company specialising in ice machines. As a Technical Documentation Assistant, you will play an important role in handling, registering, and coordinating technical documentation. You will work in a defined workflow, receiving order information by email, reviewing documentation, and ensuring correct registration in our Clients internal planning system. The role combines administrative, coordinating, and documentation-related tasks
- part secretary, part administrator, and part document controller.Key responsibilitiesReceive and review order information via emailCheck order documents and serial numbers for accuracyRegister tasks and documentation in the internal planning systemCollect, structure, and assemble technical documentation correctlyEnsure documentation is ready for printing and included with shipmentsForward documentation to the correct internal or external stakeholdersMonitor documentation status in the workflow and planning toolCollaborate with colleagues responsible for preparing technical manualsThe teamYou will become part of a team of 6 people, where collaboration, structure, and attention to detail are key.Qualifications:You work in a structured and systematic manner with strong attention to detailYou are comfortable with administrative processes and document handlingYou are able to communicate in English, both written and spokenYou are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)You thrive in roles with defined processes and recurring tasksExperience with technical documentation or document control is an advantageStart Date: End of February 2026End date: 6 months ahead (extension is highly expected)Working hours: 15–20 hours per week (to be agreed on an ongoing basis)Location: Primarily onsite, with flexibility for remote work
