IT Business Continuity & Disaster Recovery Consultant

Sandvik Group IT is strengthening its resilience against business disruptions caused by incidents and cybersecurity attacks. We are systematically managing security risks by assessing the business impact on IT systems, creating disaster recovery plans, backup and restore procedures, testing recovery plans, and performing IT risk assessments for applications and technical services provided by Group IT. This work is already well underway, and we are now looking to accelerate our efforts by engaging an experienced professional who enjoys planning, coordinating, and hands-on execution. The consultant will work closely with system and technical service owners in the line organization to guide and carry out these activities. The assignment includes: Onboarding into the current state and completed work. Planning and coordinating the next phase of Business Continuity Management (BCM) and Disaster Recovery (DR) activities. Supporting harmonization of plans (level of detail, priorities, way of working, assessment focus). Facilitating workshops for creating and validating Disaster Recovery and Major Incident Plans in ServiceNow. Assisting with testing and validation of recovery plans. The role requires strong communication skills and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders. The assignment is full-timeSkill requirementsKnowledge and experience in general Business Continuity Management procedures, including: Disaster Recovery planning. Backup and Restore planning and testing. Business Impact Assessments of Applications and Technical Services. IT Risk Assessments of Applications. Knowledge and experience with the ServiceNow platform is merital. Previous assignments and knowledge of Sandvik, especially Sandvik IT, is merital.
