Senior Mainframe Developer for Umea legacy solutions Umeå order & logistics. The scope of work includes the below:Should manage, maintain, and optimize mainframe computer systems to ensure their efficient and reliable operation.Should work closely with a team of IT professionals to support business applications and provide technical expertise in mainframe technologies.Should work with legacy applications to help us go through our digitalisation journey.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand their requirements and provide technical support for mainframe-based applications, influencing solution deside and outside stable teams.Stay abreast of industry trends and advancements in emerging mainframe technologies and contribute to our Chapter team, sharing best practices, mentoring colleagues, and actively participating in knowledge-sharing initiatives. Ensure adherence to coding standards, best practices, and security guidelines in application development and maintenance.  Analyze application performance and identify areas for improvement or optimization. Modernization of legacy applications to help us go through our digitalization journey by integrating the mainframe systems with other IT infrastructure components.Proficiency in mainframe programming languages and tools (e.g., COBOL, JCL, VSAM, ISPF, SDSF, MQ, CICS, PL/I, OPCE, Assembler, or relevant languages.) Knowledge of mainframe databases and data management systems, such as DB2 or IMS. Experience in modernizing the legacy mainframe environment, utilizing relevant tools and techniques in the mainframe domain.  Strong communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with stakeholders at all levels. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Please note!
