For our client Volvo Cars, we are looking for a Function Developer - Active Chassis system An exciting role as Function Developer for active chassis functions. We are now looking for a Function Developer with focus on embedded development to strengthen the team. The Suspension Software and Function teams are cross functional teams working with the full software stack, developing control algorithms for our functions and all tool chains needed to achieve the best active chassis functions for our vehicles. What will you do? You will be working in the in-house software team that develops functions for the Suspension system in both the Suspension ECU and the Central ECU of the vehicle. You will work closely with other function developers, test engineers, system engineers, safety engineers, system architects and may take cross-functional tasks depending on the need of the project. Your main responsibility is to perform embedded software development of algorithms for our active suspension functions as well as test activities in MIL, SIL and in complete vehicles. In your daily tasks you need to cooperate with other development teams to build up software requirements, test specifications, test cases and reports. You will actively work with software development as well as testing activities using Software in the Loop (SIL), Model in the Loop (MIL) and physical vehicle tests. Do you fit the profile? Experience from working in the automotive industry, especially in the vehicle dynamics area, as well as genuine interest in vehicles are clear advantages to succeeding in this role. We see that you have a BSc degree or higher in Software Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience. 2+ years of SW development, and strong communication skills. You have a "doer" mindset, ability to work in multicultural environment and like working agile. In addition, you'll need experience and competence in the following: · Have experience working with Embedded systems. · Have experience working in Automotive industry. · Have experience in HIL and SIL testing. · Have experience working with Matlab and Simulink. · Have experience working with Autosar. · Have experience working with Vector tools: CANoe, CANape. · ISO26262 implementation knowledge. · Have experience working with version handling (GIT). · Have knowledge of Control Theory and/or Signal Processing. Below competence are also preferred but not a must: · Have knowledge in vehicle dynamics. · Have worked with Simulink Test tool. · Have worked with requirement management tools (e.g. CarWeaver/SystemWeaver) · Knowledge in VCC tools and processes. · Have knowledge in rapid prototyping tools (e.g. dSpace Autobox). · Have knowledge of Diagnostic (UDS, ISO14229). · Have knowledge of Automotive communication protocol: CAN, Ethernet. Have knowledge on low level protocol firmware development: SPI, UART, PWM, DIO, PSI5. · Programming knowledge: C, C++, Python. We offer continuously.
