Custom Code Expert

We are now looking for a Custom Code Expert on the behalf of our client, Tetra Pak. We are looking for a Custom Code Expert to support the definition of custom codes for newly released components.Assignment:Support the regular release window (typically every year-third) by advising on the correct 10-digit customs/commodity classification of components used in the food industry. This includes enquiring about relevant parts, interpreting technical and regulatory data, and ensuring accurate assignment of codes to facilitate compliance and smooth international trade operations.The scope of work includes:Frequency: Three times per yearInput: An Excel list of newly released items, including material number, description, material, and surface treatment.Task: Assign the most appropriate custom code based on the provided information and return the completed list to the designated Tetra Pak contact for ERP upload.The estimated annual effort is approximately 500 hours.Requirements: The more critical skill required is understanding of custom codes and their application field, so based on specific components the right custom code can be applied. This implies that, in some cases, mechanical drawings and designers shall be consulted to get clarifications.
