For our British client from the high-tech health care industry, we realize a recruitment process on the position Embedded Software / Firmware Engineer.Description:As an Embedded Software/Firmware Engineer, you will join our Embedded Department and work with our highly skilled development teams across a variety of medical device areas, including drug delivery, medication adherence, implantable systems, and remote patient monitoring and support.Key Responsibilities:Develop high-quality software for Healthcare Devices according to medical standardsMake key technology recommendations and decisions throughout the project lifecycleEffectively communicate with customers and the project team to solve complex technical challengesDefine, implement, and challenge system and component requirementsDesign and follow Technical Architecture through concept, development, integration, and delivery phasesStrive to ensure that best practice is followed, and suggest improvements as necessaryRequirements:At least 7 years of experience working as an Embedded Software Engineer or similar positionConsiderable knowledge of C/C++ and experience in Structured and Object-Oriented Analysis and DesignExperience in embedded hardware platforms such as ARM Cortex-M or similar Degree in Computer Science or Electronics Engineering, or a closely related disciplineThe ability to work independently with little supervision and aware of business needsProactive, open, reliable team playerGood spoken & written EnglishExperience in any of the following areas is a distinct advantage:Experience in applications using RTOS, DSP, Bluetooth Low Energy, MCU security, Memory managementUnderstanding of hardware components, electrical schematics, and laboratory equipmentKnowledge and experience in Python, Unit testing, Continuous Integration environmentsProven delivery of successful products to market, working across the entire project lifecycle Experience in the pharmaceutical, life science, or digital health industry, experience with ISO13485 and IEC62304Our offer: B2B agreementTransparent working conditions with both Ework and the clientCurrent support during our cooperationPrivate medical careLife insuranceMultisportTeambuilding eventsContact person: XXXX XXXX
