C++/.NET Engineer

Deadline: 2026-03-25

Description

Assignment Description

We are looking for an experienced C++/.NET Engineer to join a team working with a large and technically advanced software framework. In this role, you will contribute to both the improvement of the existing platform and the development of new features that enable long-term product evolution.

This position suits someone who enjoys tackling complex challenges, working in a structured environment, and contributing to architectural discussions without the need for a formal architect title. As part of the development team, you will work in a sizable codebase with several interconnected components and collaborate closely with other developers in an agile way of working with dailies, refinements, and ongoing collaboration.

The work involves understanding the framework’s components, flows, and dependencies, maintaining and improving the framework through bug fixes, refactoring, and optimization, and developing new features based on stakeholder requirements. You will also contribute to continuous improvements that enhance product quality and development efficiency. The role requires someone who can balance hands-on coding with a broader understanding of system structures and who has an architectural mindset with an interest in identifying areas for improvement. You are comfortable questioning existing solutions and proposing new ideas based on solid technical reasoning, and you are communicative and curious and enjoy contributing to team discussions.

Required Qualifications:

  • Degree in Software Engineering or equivalent.
  • Professional experience working with.NET/C# and C++, including development of libraries, services, and APIs.
  • Experience working in a larger and structured codebase.
  • Knowledge of Windows desktop application GUI development.
  • Practical understanding of multithreading.
  • Experience with backend services, machine-to-machine APIs, authentication/authorization, and databases.
  • Ability to work with and improve legacy code when needed.
  • Familiarity with layered architecture and systems involving multiple services and dependencies.

It is considered meritorious if you have experience with CI/CD pipelines for complex or hardware-related systems and knowledge of CAN and LIN communication protocols. Experience with SQL/SQLite, RabbitMQ, or other message queues is also considered meritorious, as is familiarity with Artifactory, Azure resources, or similar technologies.
