We are looking for an experienced AI and data governance specialist to support a global organization in strengthening its data and AI governance capabilities. In this role, you will help drive operational excellence, ensure regulatory compliance, and support the responsible and ethical adoption of AI across the business.
You will work closely with cross-functional stakeholders to implement and maintain governance frameworks aligned with the organization’s data and AI strategy. The assignment includes supporting best practices, process development, documentation, training initiatives, and change management activities to ensure effective adoption across divisions. You will contribute to harmonizing data definitions, optimizing governance processes, and monitoring compliance with relevant regulations and ethical standards.
The role combines strategic understanding with hands-on execution. You are expected to translate regulatory and strategic requirements into practical governance structures, processes, and controls, and to support ongoing implementation and continuous improvement.
Required experience and competence
- Proven hands-on experience in data governance and AI governance
- Strong knowledge of data management principles, regulatory compliance, and AI ethics
- Practical experience implementing the EU Data Act and the EU AI Act
- Experience working operationally with governance frameworks and processes
- Proven ability to collaborate cross-functionally
- Strong analytical and execution skills
Valuable experience
- Experience with Data Mesh and federated governance
- Experience translating strategy into operational adoption initiatives
