We are looking for a Cybersecurity Method Developer to support the development and implementation of cybersecurity methods across a complex technical organization. In this role, you will work cross-functionally in close collaboration with method users such as testers and developers, as well as with tool developers.
You will define and develop cybersecurity methods by collecting experience, analyzing needs, and working closely with stakeholders to create clear and well-documented approaches. A key part of the role is driving harmonization across engineering, quality, and compliance functions, ensuring consistent and scalable ways of working.
You will also identify when tool support is needed and contribute by defining functional requirements and specifications. To ensure successful adoption, you will implement methods through coaching, training, and actively promoting them within the organization. In addition, you will maintain, challenge, and continuously improve existing methods to ensure relevance and effectiveness over time.
Qualifications:
- You have a Software development background preferably in embedded systems or a technical background.
- ISO/SAE 21434
- Road Vehicles Cybersecurity Engineering, UN-ECE R155
- Cybersecurity Management Systems (CSMS),
- Threat Analysis and Risk Assessment (TARA),
- Cybersecurity concept development and requirements engineering,
- Integration of cybersecurity into the full automotive lifecycle (development, production, post-production)
- You have a solid understanding of risk-based management systems, including: ISO 27001 (ISMS), ISO 9001 (QMS)
Meriting:
- UN-ECE R156 (SUMS): ISO 26262 (Functional Safety) and its interface to cybersecurity,
- Experience with supplier cybersecurity interfaces (e.g., CS-DIA),
- Experience supporting type approval activities,
- Participation in audits or certification assessments
You understand the bigger picture and how different parts of the organization and technology landscape interact will be a strong asset in this role. At the same time, you have a structured mindset and recognize the importance of working accurately and paying attention to detail. You are genuinely interested in understanding different perspectives and stakeholder needs, and you value collaboration. You have strong interpersonal and communication skills and are fluent in English, both written and spoken, in an international environment.
