Process Developer

Assignment description

We are looking for a Process Developer to join a global D365 Finance & Procurement rollout program. The organization is implementing Microsoft D365 to establish harmonized, end-to-end commercial finance processes, a unified accounting model, and aligned master data across markets. This role plays a central part in shaping the future global finance blueprint.

You will be responsible for deg and defining future-state commercial finance processes within D365, driving global harmonization and standardization with minimal exceptions. The role includes ensuring accounting integrity, strong internal controls, and alignment with a unified commercial accounting model. You will also lead the redesign of the Chart of Accounts and financial dimensions to support a scalable and compliant global setup.

Scope of Work

Process Blueprint

• Define and govern the global standard for commercial finance processes
• Design and document the future-state end-to-end finance blueprint

Accounting Model & Master Data

• Lead the redesign of the Chart of Accounts (CoA)
• Define financial dimensions and harmonized posting logic
• Facilitate decision-making with local CFOs and central stakeholders

D365 Implementation Support

• Define functional requirements, approvals, and control structures
• Ensure reporting requirements are captured
• Support test scenarios, acceptance criteria, and validation of system build

Documentation & Enablement

• Maintain structured global process documentation
• Ensure accessibility and clarity of standards across markets

Out of Scope

• Technical configuration or custom development
• Program management responsibilities
• Operational finance backfill

Key Deliverables

• Future-state end-to-end commercial finance blueprint
• Approved process architecture including global standards and documented exceptions
• Control and compliance framework including control matrix and segregation of duties principles
• Chart of Accounts and financial dimensions decluding governance and posting logic

Qualifications:

Must‑Have:

• Senior finance background (accounting/controller/finance lead).
• Strong knowledge of CoA, posting logic, period close, reconciliations, and reporting.
• Proven experience in process design and global harmonization.
• Experience embedding internal controls into end‑to‑end processes.
• Experience from large, multinational organizations.
• Strong senior‑stakeholder leadership.
• Skilled workshop facilitator and decision‑driver.
• High documentation discipline (process maps, narratives, governance assets).
• Comfortable operating in complex transformation programs.

Highly Desirable

• Experience with Dynamics 365 Finance.
• Understanding of transition‑phase Dynamics touchpoints.
