We are looking for a Software Developer to join an R&D department and contribute to the development of Android Auto Projected (AAP) and Apple CarPlay (ACP). These features are developed entirely in-house, covering the full vertical stack from low-level modules to the application layer. AAP and ACP are key parts of the platform and product offering, and represent major selling points for customers.
In this role, you will be part of a dedicated development team focused on delivering high-quality software solutions. The position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on development with responsibilities related to product quality and development practices. You will work with full-stack software development within the Android platform, focusing on projected functions, and develop using C++, Java, Kotlin, and the Android toolchain. You will take end-to-end responsibility for design, architecture, documentation, implementation, and automated testing.
Qualifications:
- You have a M.Sc. in Software Engineering or equivalent experience.
- You have minimum 8 years of embedded systems software development.
- You have proven experience in Android stack development.
- You are skilled in automated unit and integration testing (C++/Java/Python).
- You are proficient with Git, Gerrit, Jenkins.
- You are comfortable working in a Linux environment
You are an experienced developer with a strong passion for technology and a drive to build world-class software products. You have extensive experience in embedded software development, including architecture, methods, and tools, and you stay up to date with industry trends and standards.
Your expertise covers all phases of the software development lifecycle, including architecture, design, coding, testing, reviews, and DevOps. Experience with AOSP is essential. You are motivated by challenging tasks and have strong communication skills, and you feel comfortable presenting technical topics to stakeholders.
