We are looking for a Business Analyst with extensive experience in payments, who has worked in the role of a senior payment expert. The role combines core Business Analyst responsibilities with deep subject matter expertise within European and Nordic payments. You are expected to bring strong knowledge of payment methods, end-to-end payment flows, and the operational landscape surrounding clearing and settlement processes. The role is preferably based on a hybrid setup in Malmö, but remote work within Sweden is also possible.
In this assignment, you will support and help drive payment-related initiatives within larger transformation programs and multi-market deliveries. The role requires close collaboration with internal technical teams as well as external suppliers, ensuring that requirements are clearly defined, documented, and aligned with operational realities. You will operate in a multicultural, multi-vendor environment with distributed teams, where structured documentation and clear communication in English are essential.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English, with experience producing structured documentation
- Experience working in the role of a senior payment expert
- Used to operating in multicultural, multi-supplier setups with geographically distributed teams
- Multiple years working as a Business Analyst in payments, card services, or banking environments
- Hands-on experience working together with external vendors as well as internal technical stakeholders
- Solid knowledge of end-to-end payment operations, including clearing, settlement, and related operational effects
- Background in major transformation initiatives or deliveries spanning several markets
