We are looking for an Electrical Harness Designer.
In this role, you will work with ongoing defense-related projects, including maintenance initiatives, development for country-specific requirements, and broader development projects not tied to a single market. You will also be involved in projects handling deviations and change requests.
Your responsibilities include investigating and responding to PRS requests, supporting and coaching other harness designers, and reviewing electrical harness designs in CATIA and Saber. You will troubleshoot issues and deviations identified on vehicles and take an active role in handling and driving Field Quality issues to resolution.
Qualifications:
- You hold a BSc or MSc in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- You have at least six years of experience within the automotive industry, including EMC-related work.
- You are fluent in English and have basic proficiency in Swedish, with a willingness to further develop your language skills.
- You have several years of hands-on experience working with electrical systems.
- You have experience with electrical systems used in defense or heavy-duty vehicles.
- Experience with customized truck development processes is considered an advantage.
- You are skilled in using Saber and CATIA V5 to create circuit diagrams, wiring harnesses, cable routing, and installation drawings.
- You have experience reviewing Saber and CATIA designs and working in 3DExperience.
- You are familiar with using OAS to create and review changes, including writing and reviewing ECOs.
- You are comfortable managing a high workload and prioritizing tasks effectively.
