Assignment Description
We are seeking a Imaging Engineer for an assignment that requires on-site presence four days per week. The role involves analytical and hands-on engineering work, where you will investigate technical issues, perform fault tracing, and carry out root cause analysis. You will collaborate closely with other technical teams and contribute to clear and structured cross-team communication. The assignment includes testing cameras, optics, and thermal sensors in both laboratory environments and real-world conditions, using equipment such as climate chambers and calibration tools. You will work with Python-based tools and frameworks, handle databases, and support development and testing activities through systematic analysis and documentation.
Required Qualifications:
- Strong analytical skills with a solid foundation in higher-level mathematics and statistical methods
- Solid understanding of optical systems and image sensor technology
- Good knowledge of algorithms used for image and signal processing
- Experience working in development environments based on Linux and version control using Git
- Previous professional experience working with Python
It is considered meritorious if you have experience with C or C++, as well as if you hold a master’s degree in engineering within fields such as physics, computer science, electrical engineering, or a related field.
