Job Description

The client is seeking a ServiceNow Saas Platform Developer in Raleigh, NC. The role involves transforming security awareness, remediation, and reporting within the company, providing customers with transparency and response through applications built in ServiceNow. Responsibilities include building complete applications from start to finish, ensuring test suites are available, integrating ServiceNow with other systems via API, creating custom interfaces, importing and transforming data, debugging problems, and improving ServiceNow performance.

Additionally, the candidate will work within a team of energetic developers in a flexible environment, focusing on vulnerability detection, remediation, and reporting. Tasks include application design, coding, and testing in JavaScript using ServiceNow capabilities.

Requirements

• 3-5 years’ experience in JavaScript and ServiceNow Development.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent experience.
• Experience implementing complete applications in ServiceNow.
• Native English proficiency.
• Significant experience in complex user interface programming using JavaScript libraries such as Angular, React, or Next.js.
• Experience implementing REST-based APIs to and from ServiceNow applications.
• Extensive scripting experience with Glide, AJAX, and Jelly script.
• Experience creating scoped applications within ServiceNow.
• Integration experience with database systems, especially Postgres.
• Highly proficient in JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Experience with recent versions of ServiceNow.
• Knowledge of DevOps concepts and tools such as GIT and Jenkins.
• Proficient in using AI to solve programming problems within ServiceNow development.

Compensation and Benefits

This position is a contract/temporary role with a pay rate of $73.81/hr. Benefits include full medical, dental, and vision benefits, 401K, and Life Insurance ($20,000 benefit).
