Job Description

Role: Freelance Graphic Designer

Rates: T4: 33-39/hr, IC: 40/hr - 46/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and produce creative assets for integrated event campaigns, including:
• Digital ads, email campaigns, website, and social media graphics
• Event signage, posters, and promotional materials
• Branded merchandise such as t-shirts, medals, and participant kits
• Adapt and ensure all creative aligns with established brand guidelines
• Collaborate closely with marketing and events teams to execute creative briefs
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight deadlines
• Prepare and deliver final assets for both digital and print production
• Contribute innovative ideas and visual concepts to enhance audience engagement

Requirements

Qualifications:

• 3+ years of experience in graphic design (events, marketing, or nonprofit experience preferred)
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop)
• Experience deg for both digital and print formats
• Strong understanding of layout, typography, and color theory
• Familiarity with production processes and preparing press-ready files
• Experience with website design is an asset
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities
• Strong communication and collaboration skills
• Additional skills in photography, illustration, or motion graphics are a plus
