Duties

• Design and develop visually appealing websites using advanced graphic design tools such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, and Figma, ensuring a cohesive visual identity through logo design, typography, and layout design.
• Create wireframes, prototypes, and mockups to visualize user flows and interface layouts that enhance usability and user experience (UX).
• Implement responsive web designs that adapt seamlessly across devices using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Bootstrap, Angular, React, and other front-end frameworks.
• Optimize websites for search engines (SEO) by applying best practices in web accessibility, content structure, and performance analytics using tools like Google Analytics 360 and Adobe Analytics.
• Develop interactive features with JavaScript, AJAX, Node.js, Redux, PHP, MySQL, and other web development technologies to enhance user engagement.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to gather insights for continuous improvement of website functionality and visual appeal.
• Maintain websites through regular updates, content management system (CMS) management such as WordPress or Drupal, website maintenance tasks, and troubleshooting technical issues.
• Collaborate with digital marketing teams to integrate email marketing campaigns via Mailchimp or similar platforms and support digital marketing strategies through data analysis skills.

Requirements

• Proven experience in digital design with a strong portfolio showcasing website projects emphasizing visual design, interaction design, motion graphics, and layout design.
• Proficiency in graphic design software including Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), Adobe XD, Figma, InVision, Sketch.
• Solid understanding of web accessibility standards (WCAG), usability principles, and responsive web design techniques.
• Hands-on experience with front-end development technologies such as HTML5, CSS3 (including SCSS/Less), JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular), Bootstrap, and AJAX.
• Knowledge of back-end technologies including PHP, Python, SQL/MySQL databases for website maintenance or development tasks.
• Familiarity with content management systems like WordPress or Drupal for website updates and content management.
• Strong data analysis skills using Google Analytics 360 or Adobe Analytics to interpret web traffic data for optimization purposes.
• Experience with wireframing tools such as Balsamiq or Axure to plan user interfaces effectively.
• Ability to conduct user research to inform design decisions and improve overall user experience.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively across teams in a fast-paced environment.

Additional Information

Pay: $20.00 - $29.00 per hour
