Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Web Designer with a strong emphasis in WordPress development and design. This role is fully remote and ideal for someone who understands both the visual and technical side of building high-converting, high-performance websites.

If you only “know how to use themes,” this is not the role. We are looking for someone who understands structure, UX, optimization, and how to build sites that actually perform.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop custom WordPress websites
• Customize themes and build layouts using Elementor, WPBakery, or similar builders
• Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and mobile responsiveness
• Implement best practices in UX/UI
• Maintain and update client websites
• Troubleshoot plugins, hosting issues, and performance errors
• Ensure proper integrations (forms, CRMs, analytics, email platforms)
• Work alongside branding, marketing, and content teams

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of professional web design experience
• Strong portfolio showcasing WordPress-based websites
• Deep understanding of WordPress backend (themes, plugins, structure, hosting)
• Experience with page builders (Elementor preferred)
• Basic understanding of HTML/CSS
• Knowledge of site speed optimization and SEO fundamentals
• Strong communication and ability to meet deadlines

Preferred (Not Required but Valued)

• Experience with WooCommerce
• Familiarity with hosting platforms (GoDaddy, SiteGround, WP Engine, etc.)
• Understanding of conversion-focused website strategy
• Experience working with marketing or creative agencies

Compensation and Work Location

Pay: $2,100.00 - $3,000.00 per month
