CCP Iceland is looking for an experienced, innovative senior software developer with a deep passion for games and games development. The successful candidate is a highly talented and driven individual who thrives in a dynamic and fast-paced environment with an experience deg and developing backend systems using modern technologies.

Key responsibilities:

• Design and implement innovative solutions within Eve online gameplay systems
• Lead other programmers and designers to determine appropriate systems and solutions
• Drive and contribute innovative ideas and solutions towards all aspect of the game and development processes
• Actively participate in all aspects of release and sprint planning, building a backlog of work in collaboration with the team, deploy changes and analyse results
• Prioritize and meet deadlines, document and communicate progress

Experience and background:

• University degree in Computer Science or related studies
• Minimum 6 years experience with software development
• Excellent programming and debugging skills, preferably in Python or Go
• Experience working with a message queue and containers
• Experience with relational databases is a plus
• Great communicator and works effectively with others
• Agile development experience/knowledge
