The role:

As a UX Director at Above, you’ll lead design work that sits at the intersection of people, technology, and business. You’ll take ownership of projects from early discovery through to delivery

• shaping experiences across both digital and physical products. From apps and services to connected devices, your work will have real-world impact.

This is a highly collaborative environment. You’ll work alongside designers, engineers, and clients to create solutions that are not only intuitive, but also technically and commercially sound.

What you’ll do:

• Lead UX work end-to-end: from research and concept to final delivery • Build strong, trusted client relationships and align design with business goals • Continuously improve design processes and workflows for better outcomes • Use qualitative and quantitative research to inform decisions • Collaborate across disciplines: from industrial design to engineering • Mentor and support junior designers, contributing to a strong team culture • Contribute to UX thinking and direction across projects and clients

Who you are:

• You’re an experienced UX designer with a strong foundation, and a curiosity to keep evolving • Proven experience delivering user-centered design solutions • Strong communicator: able to present, explain, and align stakeholders • Skilled in tools like Figma and modern prototyping workflows • Analytical and structured in how you approach complex problems • A collaborative team player who thrives in cross-functional environments
