Contract Developer Experience Product Manager 3 Months Outside of IR35 - Remote first (Ideally located in Yorkshire or London) FinTech | AI | DevEx | DX

We're looking for a Developer Experience Product Manager to own our clients developer-facing API portal — and take it to the next level.

Are you a product leader from a development background who gets excited about developer tooling, clean APIs, and making the integration experience genuinely great?

The Role The Developer Portal is the front door for partners integrating with their platform. You'll own it end to end — the roadmap, the backlog, the documentation, and the relationships that make integrations succeed.

This isn't a passive documentation role. You'll be hands-on with partners, deeply embedded in the product, and the go-to person for making sure developers have everything they need to build with confidence.

What You'll Be Doing

• Owning the developer portal roadmap and backlog — setting direction and keeping things moving
• Writing and maintaining sharp, accurate API and integration documentation that developers actually enjoy reading
• Working directly with partners through onboarding and integration, being the technical bridge between the platform and the people building on top of it
• Bringing structure and clarity to a developer experience that supports continued growth

What We're Looking For

• A strong technical background — you don't need to be writing production code daily, but you need to think like a developer and earn their respect quickly

• Exposure to.NET

• Experience owning developer-facing products or documentation

• Excellent written communication — you can make complex technical concepts feel straightforward

• A proactive, organised approach — you take ownership and see things through

• Comfortable engaging directly with technical partners and stakeholders
