About the job
NHS Trust is looking for accredited Epic Analysts for a long-term contract (2 years) to support a large-scale EPR (Electronic Patient Record) implementation on a hybrid basis.
QualificationsEssential criteria
• General education to degree level, equivalent professional qualification or equivalent experience
• IT Qualification in Excel (or equivalent experience) Desirable criteria
• Epic certified in at least one application
• PRINCE/MSP or other project management qualification ExperienceEssential criteria
• Design and delivery of workflows/processes in a clinical environment
• Experience of delivery of benefits from the implementation of technology / services
• Experience of working with the Epic EPR system
• Experience of working with senior clinical staff, medical consultants and other senior managers
• Experience of delivering complex technical projects to tight deadlines Desirable criteria
• Experience of managing clinical and/or operational services within the NHS
• Electronic patient record (EPR) design and delivery in a clinical environment
• Configuration and adaptation of EPR technology to meet the needs of users
• Application support service delivery
• Previous NHS experience KnowledgeEssential criteria
• Thorough understanding of clinical and/or operational workflows and processes in a healthcare setting
• Knowledge of the Epic EPR system
• Understanding of Information Governance Desirable criteria
• Understanding of NHS operational and/or clinical management SkillsEssential criteria
• Excellent IT Skills
• Excellent business and process analytical skills
• Able to work equally well under own initiative and as part of a team
• Ability to resolve complex process and analytical problems
• Ability to meet conflicting deadlines and balance multiple tasks concurrently whilst remaining calm under pressure
• Ability to make decisions based on complex facts or situations requiring analysis, interpretation, or comparison of a range of options
• Sound project management skills
• First class application technical skills
• Good communication skills
particularly with clinical and senior staff
• Present complex technical information to non-technical large groups of internal or external clinicians/ operational managers
• Negotiate and use effective persuasive techniques with senior level staff
• Ability to concentrate for long periods of time on complex data and process analysis
