Healthcare Assistant
Description
To support the qualified practitioners in the delivery of a 5 (sometimes 6) days a week service, this includes working in speciality clinics such as Colposcopy, urogynaecology and procedure clinics. Occasionally you may be asked to support the Women's health assessment or inpatient unit.
Clinics start at 0800 and finish around 1730, so these would be the desired hours required from the candidate.
To support the qualified practitioners in outpatient clinics, duties include but are not limited to:
Chaperoning
Checking patients in
Assisting in procedural clinics
Ordering stock

To support the qualified practitioners in the delivery of a 5 (sometimes 6) days a week service, this includes:
- Providing effective evidence based care for patients referred to the service under the supervision of qualified practitioners
- Using personal effectiveness and knowledge to contribute to the development and delivery of a high quality, cost effective service.
- To work closely with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- To take responsibility for the Gynaecology outpatient area stock supplies and ordering.
- Mange the preparation of notes for clinics
- Completion of audits.
- To maintain standards within the outpatient area.
