18-Tonne Logistics Driver

Top driving job for you to pick! Class 2 HGV driver to operate 18-tonne vehicles for multi-drop deliveries is now wanted. Ensuring timely and secure delivery of products to customers while providing excellent service and adhering to all legal and safety regulations. This is a Monday to Friday role with no weekend work, offering a great work-life balance within a supportive and well-run team.

Hours=08:00am-18:00hrs with 1-hour unpaid break.

Pay=Approximately £38,000 - £40,000+ per year.

Basic pay rate £18.40 and overtime pay rate £27.60.

Overtime is frequently paid at the standard rate after 45 hours.

Key responsibilities:

• Complete multi-drop deliveries (approx..15–20 drops per day)
• Deliver goods on time and in excellent condition
• Load and secure the vehicle safely and correctly
• Represent the company professionally when interacting with customers
• Report any damages, discrepancies, or issues promptly
• Carry out daily vehicle checks and basic maintenance
• Maintain a clean and presentable vehicle
• Follow all health and safety procedures
• Support general warehouse and distribution activities as needed

Requirements:

• Valid Class 2 (Category C) licence and CPC qualification.
• Previous experience driving 18-tonne vehicles in a multi-drop environment preferred.
• Professional, reliable, and customer focused.
• Well, organised with the ability to prioritise effectively.
• Positive, proactive attitude.
• Clean UK driving licence preferred (up to 6points).
• 5-year checkable history (no gaps longer than 28 days).
• Clean DBS to follow and prior to start date.
