Mifid 2 Business Analyst - Product Governance

Your new role You will join the Markets Program Execution & Transformation team as a Senior Business Analyst, working on key initiatives within the Investor Protection Programme. Your initial focus will be on enhancing the existing MiFID II Product Governance implementation, delivering improvements to policies, procedures, systems, controls, reporting and governance throughout the product lifecycle. As project priorities evolve, you may also support wider regulatory change initiatives such as the EU Retail Investment Strategy.

What you'll need to succeed

• Minimum 10 years' Business Analysis experience within Investment Banking.
• Experience delivering one or more of the following: MiFID II Product Governance or FCA Consumer Duty.
• Proven experience within regulatory change programmes, from legal interpretation through to BAU handover.
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with experience collaborating with Front Office, Business Management, Legal, and Compliance.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills for senior stakeholder and programme reporting.
• Strong analytical ability, attention to detail, and proficiency in Excel (data analysis), PowerPoint and Visio.
• Ability to support project management activities and maintain structured governance and delivery discipline.
