Data Scientist - Stockholm onsite

In this role, you will: Build, train, and deploy statistical and machine learning models that support critical business decisions, such as forecasting demand and predicting market behavior. Design and operate simulation and optimization systems that transform model outputs into automated decision-making strategies. Research and prototype new modeling approaches to improve accuracy, explore additional data signals, and validate new product ideas. Work closely with data engineering teams to develop and refine data pipelines, as well as define structured datasets optimized for modeling and feature engineering. Implement monitoring and observability solutions to track model performance, detect data drift, and ensure reliability and compliance in production environments. Develop a strong understanding of complex industrial systems and market dynamics, translating them into quantitative models that provide measurable business value. Expected background: You have experience building and deploying models in complex environments with interconnected systems, and understand the full lifecycle from raw data to production-ready solutions. You bring hands-on expertise in areas such as time series forecasting, optimization, or simulation, ideally applied to real-world systems (experience in industrial or energy-related domains is a plus). You take ownership of model quality end-to-end, including feature engineering, validation, and production monitoring. You are comfortable taking models into production independently, including packaging, deployment, and integration. You thrive in dynamic environments, enjoy working across disciplines, and are comfortable taking on multiple responsibilities. You are curious about how data connects complex systems and markets.
