Scrum Master / Agile Coach

Company Context The organisation is currently undergoing a long-term transformation, modernising applications and infrastructure, operating models, and ways of working, while at the same time ensuring stable, secure, and fully compliant daily operations. Squads (semi-fixed teams) play a central role in this journey. They are accountable for the full product development lifecycle on in-house built platforms, with a strong focus on cyber security and operational resilience. The technology landscape spans mainframe, ACE, Java, and cloud platforms. Team structures and squad compositions are expected to evolve over time in line with organisational needs. Role Overview We are looking for an experienced Scrum Master / Agile Coach to coach, lead, and coordinate delivery within one of our squads in a regulated financial environment. The role operates in accordance with established agile ways of working, with strong alignment to Agile and SAFe principles. Transparency and informed decision-making are supported through data-driven reporting using Power BI and Azure DevOps. Key Responsibilities Drive delivery according to established agile ways of working, applying agile principles in a legacy environment with distributed teams. Facilitate Scrum ceremonies and continuously improve ways of working. Remove and escalate delivery impediments. Support Quarterly Planning and commitment tracking. Ensure transparency across squad and epic-level delivery, risks, and dependencies. Coach teams and stakeholders in agile mindset and behaviours. Manage dependencies across legacy and modern technology platforms. Support disciplined adoption and structured use of Azure DevOps. Deliver clear, structured, data-driven reporting using Power BI and Azure DevOps. Required Experience & Competence Must have:

• Proven experience as a Scrum Master and/or Agile Coach in complex environments. Experience working in regulated environments (e.g. financial services, critical infrastructure, or similar).
• Experience from Financial Market Infrastructure (CSD, banking, clearing, settlement).
• Strong facilitation and coaching skills.
• Experience working with distributed teams and external vendors / system integrators.
• Solid understanding of Scrum, agile principles, and iterative planning.
• Ability to operate effectively in environments with continuous organisational change.
• Strong delivery governance capabilities in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps and Power BI (or similar tools) in agile delivery contexts.
• Fluent English, written and spoken. Meriting experience:
• Exposure to mainframe environments and hybrid IT landscapes.
• Experience from large, global organisations combined with smaller, local units.
