Platform Lead

Skills & Knowledge Solid professional experience with AWS (or other cloud infrastructure providers) at scale, preferably for non-web consumers (apps, other services, apis etc). Experience building and deploying services in the cloud, and living in an Infrastructure as Code environment. Knowledge about containerization (i.e. Docker), orchestration (ECS or Kubernetes) and IaC (Terraform and/or CloudFormation) Good understanding of databases preferably both relational and nosql databases. The larger volumes the better. Excellent communication skills, and proven ability to merge non-technical requirements into a technical solution Collaborating and coaching more junior developers. What will they have accomplished in a year's time? Kept up with the growth for our current services that are in production. (Currently we’re handling about 1400 requests per second during peak hours) Continue to improve the observability of the platform Established best practices for running services within Fargate/ECS and Kubernetes
