Senior Backend Consultant (PHP / Laravel)

We are looking for a Senior Backend Consultant (PHP / Laravel) for our customer. This assignment is suited for someone with a solid backend profile who can take ownership of backend architecture, performance, operations, and scalability, and act as a technical driver even without a formal leadership role. Technical environment PHP (Laravel) MySQL Good understanding of cloud infrastructure, operations, and general backend infrastructure Profile Comfortable challenging ideas, discussing trade-offs, and collaborating to find the best solutions Pragmatic and non-prestigious in technical discussions Curious and willing to learn new systems and domains Practical details 4 days per week on-site in Stockholm 1 day per week remote English is sufficient; Swedish is a plus Deep backend expertise is prioritized. Experience from e-commerce or similar domains is a plus if combined with strong backend depth, but not a requirement. The role requires strong communication skills, as the consultant will collaborate with and gather input from multiple stakeholders, and help drive initiatives forward independently.
