Python Developer

Location:

Dublin, must be onsite 5 days a week

Role Description -

This role is responsible for developing and

delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key

responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to

meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements.  This role

ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration

and testing built-in from the outset.   These individuals possess

strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry,

and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.

Required Skills:

• Strong development skills in Python; Version 3+.
• In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
• Good programming skills including understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and multi-threading.
• experience with large scale, globally distributed systems with an emphasis on high availability.
• experience with Agile development practices,
• Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.

Desirable Skills:

• Micro services, Containerization/Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools.
• A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
• Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.
• Exposure of working with teams leveraging AI/ML,GenAI
• Exposure to RAG and prompt engineering
