Description
Location:
Dublin, must be onsite 5 days a week
Role Description -
This role is responsible for developing and
delivering complex requirements to accomplish business goals. Key
responsibilities of the role include ensuring that software is developed to
meet functional, non-functional, and compliance requirements. This role
ensures solutions are well designed with maintainability/ease of integration
and testing built-in from the outset. These individuals possess
strong proficiency in development and testing practices common to the industry,
and have extensive experience of using design and architectural patterns.
Required Skills:
- Strong development skills in Python; Version 3+.
- In-depth understanding of the Python software development stacks, ecosystems, frameworks and tools such as Numpy, Scipy, Pandas, Dask, spaCy, NLTK, sci-kit-learn and PyTorch.
- Good programming skills including understanding of algorithms, data structures, design patterns and multi-threading.
- experience with large scale, globally distributed systems with an emphasis on high availability.
- experience with Agile development practices,
- Familiarity with database technologies such as SQL and NoSQL.
Desirable Skills:
- Micro services, Containerization/Kubernetes.
- Knowledge of data science and machine learning concepts and tools.
- A working understanding of cloud platforms such as AWS, Google Cloud or Azure.
- Contributions to open-source Python projects or active involvement in the Python community.
- Exposure of working with teams leveraging AI/ML,GenAI
- Exposure to RAG and prompt engineering
