About the Project
Our client, a leading Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG/FMCG) organization, is undertaking a major Trade Promotion Management (TPM)
and XTEL Cloud integration program. This also includes preparing the SAP landscape for the 2027 S/4HANA transition hard freeze, requiring
clean-core, future-proof development.
To support this transformation, we are seeking a highly skilled SAP ABAP Developer with strong SD/FI integration expertise and hands-on experience with SAP CPI/PO and IDoc-based integrations.
This role is mission-critical, working on high-volume commercial processes such as pricing, promotions, rebates, deductions, and customer claims, with specific customization needed for the French market (“France Delta”).
Key Responsibilities
1. Interface & Integration Development
- Design and build robust interfaces using SAP CPI/PO, IDocs, BDocs, and OData Services to enable real-time data exchange between SAP ECC/S4 and XTEL Cloud.
- Develop mappings, error handling, middleware logic, and end-to-end integration flows across SD, FI, and TPM environments.
2. SD/FI Functional Integration
- Implement and enhance SD pricing procedures, rebate agreements, condition techniques, and FI-related posting logic to support XTEL-generated promotions
- Translate promotion spend scenarios into SAP pricing structures and ensure seamless end-to-end order-to-cash (O2C) processing.
3. Custom Market Logic (“France Delta”)
- Develop ABAP logic to support:
- Complex invoice matching
- Reposting
- Deduction management
- Local French compliance requirements
4. S/4HANA Readiness
- Build all custom code using ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, and clean-core principles.
- Ensure RICEFW objects remain fully upgrade-safe and compliant with S/4HANA transition standards.
5. FSCM Integration
- Configure and develop integration touchpoints with SAP FSCM for dispute management and standardized claim settlement.
6. Quality & Testing
- Perform unit testing and support SIT, E2E, and UAT cycles.
- Deliver high-quality documentation and comply with internal quality frameworks for RICEFW delivery.
Must‑Have Skills (Essential)
Technical
- 7+ years SAP ABAP development experience (OO, Enhancements, BAdIs, User Exits).
- Strong integration skills with IDocs, BDocs, and SAP CPI/PO (REST/SOAP adapters).
- SAP SD expertise:

- Billing
- Deductions
- SAP FI integration understanding:
- AR/AP
- Postings
- Settlement logic
- Hands-on experience with ABAP on HANA, CDS Views, performance optimization.
- Full RICEFW development lifecycle experience.
- experience in high-volume FMCG/CPG environments dealing with trade spend or promotion logic.
Soft Skills
- Strong communication & ability to bridge functional requirements with technical design.
- Proactive problem-solving and ability to work independently in a fast-paced program.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- experience integrating SAP TPM or SAP CRM.
- Working knowledge of SAP FSCM Dispute Management.
- Prior exposure to XTEL Cloud or other TPM solutions.
- RAP / Fiori Elements exposure (not required but beneficial).
- EDI/B2B partner integration experience.
- experience in tax/claims, FI-CA, or FMCG retailer compliance flows.
