A large bank is currently looking for a Data Insights Developer to join their Data & Analytics Office, working closely with business
stakeholders to design and deliver high‑quality data‑driven solutions across the organisation. This role blends full‑stack development, data engineering,
analysis, and visualisation, with strong ownership from design through to delivery and adoption.
The position sits within a high‑impact team responsible for developing Python‑based web applications, building analytical data models, and transforming complex datasets into clear, actionable insight that supports decision‑making at scale.
Required Skills**/**Experience:
- Demonstrable Experience of working in a Full Stack development or similar hybrid role, combining software development, data analysis and visualisation.
- Strong understanding of data modelling concepts and analytical techniques; familiarity with scenario modelling or analytics would be an advantage.
- Proficiency in data manipulation tools, particularly Pandas, and Experience with cloud data platforms like Google BigQuery.
- Proven technical skills in Python, DevOps practices, and webtechnologies, including CSS, JavaScript, and popular web frameworks.
- Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes for application deployment.
- Excellent data visualisation skills, with a portfolio showcasing your ability to tell compelling stories through data.
- Understanding of Agile ways of working, including Experience with JIRA and Confluence.
- Understanding of banking / financial services industry.
- Experience in business analysis, solution design, change & implementation or consulting activities.
- Excellent analytical and problem solving skills, with a keen attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and proactively.

- Pro-active attitude, drive to continuously improve things by use of creativity and initiative.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills, including with senior and non-technical stakeholders, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers.
- Excellent critical thinking skills, with the ability to challenge or push back on unclear requirements.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to prioritise work and respond to fast changing, complex and often ambiguous demands.
- Ability to work autonomously, with end-to-end ownership of specific deliverables.
