Fidessa/Java Developer

Responsibilities:

• Ongoing development and customization of the Enterprise Fidessa cash equities order management systems
• Design and development of cash equities business requirements on the Fidessa order management system
• Work closely with regional and global business sponsors to understand their requirements and architect, design and execute technical solutions
• Collaborate with regional and global team members to form high quality solutions
• Provide guidance and mentoring for new team members as necessary
• Identify business, technology and people risks. Identify solutions or mitigating controls
• Assist with 3rd line support as required

Skills

• Hands-on development experience with the Fidessa vendor trading platform
• A strong understanding of equities trading
• Programming skills in languages such as Java and Python

Nice To Have

• A strong understanding of other asset class domains across Capital Markets
• Experience using The Java Spring framework
