Sitecore Technical Lead

We are currently supporting a well established bank based in Sheffield to hire a Sitecore Technical Lead to join their growing teams. This person will help to cover their frontend, backend and testing/automation test/QA and help them shape a new "DevOps POD".

This consultant will be a key piece in establishing a new Sitecore capability from the ground up, growing a team of backend and frontend developers while also being able to support the existing team where needed.

We are looking for someone with hands-on experience, comfortable reviewing and contributing to pull requests, unblocking engineers, and providing clear technical direction when required.

The ideal consultant should have solid Sitecore experience, with strong backend expertise and good frontend awareness. You must be comfortable operating within an Agile environment (and support the implementation processes for it, supporting sprint planning, reviews, retrospective, etc), basically someone who can bring structure and raise engineering standards in a pragmatic way.

Strong communication skills are essential and an experienced professional who leads by example, earns respect through technical depth, and can engage constructively with both engineers and stakeholders (business), previous experience in similar role (leading a global and high performing dev team) is required.

This will be a long term contracting opportunity. The successful person will need to be able to do 2 days a week onsite at the Sheffield office.
