Compliance Manager
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee application and maintenance requirements of licenses in various jurisdictions.
- Offer ad-hoc compliance advice to teams and senior management.
- Conduct employee compliance training.
- Maintain the Deputy MLRO role.
- Manage customer claims covering compliance related areas.
- Oversee and minute compliance discussion forums.
- Assist teams with supplier due diligence inquiries related to licensing.
- Manage regulator inquiries and maintain strong relationships with regulators.
- Maintain and upkeep internal compliance team document repository and policy platform.
- Represent the Compliance function during board meetings and regulatory engagements.
- Maintain regulatory reporting requirements.
- Perform Quality Assurance function as may be requested by the MLRO.
- Assist with ongoing compliance health assessments.
- Temporary maternity leave cover for the Head of Regulatory Compliance.
Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a compliance role.
- Industry experience is essential.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive information/documentation with discretion.
- Experienced in working within a multi-jurisdictional set-up is desirable.
- Transparent, accountable, and self-driven professional.
- Capable of representing compliance matters to senior management and contributing to complex decision-making.
- Responsive and time-sensitive, able to handle tasks with urgency and efficiency.
- Highly mindful of the usage and safeguarding of companys sensitive information and know-how in interactions with external parties.
- Eagerness to learn and expand knowledge in areas related to compliance, such as AML and RG.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to articulate complex regulatory matters in a clear and concise manner.
- Ability to maintain strong working relationships with a range of internal stakeholders to ensure alignment on compliance objectives.
