The Team

Our product team is small but skilled, so every task matters. The team is experienced and helpful, always ready to lend a hand. We encourage asking questions and sharing what you know. We plan our product development in group sessions, during which the whole team can easily talk to product managers and work closely together. Most of us work from home, while others are in our Cyprus office. We're very remote-friendly.

What You Will Be Doing:

• Define and drive the technical strategy, making key architectural and design decisions with a focus on scalability, performance, security, and design patterns.
• Oversee the development and enhancement of current technical solutions, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
• Collaborate with the product team to guide technical execution in line with the product roadmap.
• Lead the technical team by implementing best development practices and fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Set and monitor technical goals, ensuring developers achieve their targets.
• Ensure the timely delivery of team commitments in collaboration with the Delivery Manager.
• Design and develop fault-tolerant, optimized solutions that meet high standards of performance and reliability.
• Facilitate collaboration between various teams including product, infrastructure, and business units to achieve cohesive project outcomes.
• Conduct code reviews, backlog prioritization, and retrospective analysis to ensure continuous improvement.
• Manage the technical side of the certification and licensing process for the product (RNG, GLI, ISO, etc.).

Your Expertise:

• A minimum of 5 years of software development experience, including at least 2 years in a technical leadership role (Tech Lead, Team Lead, or CTO) in a team of 10+ developers.
• Experience in the iGaming industry, particularly in developing online aggregators and slots, which will significantly ease domain-specific challenges.
• Proven ability to mentor and build scalable teams while demonstrating intellectual leadership.
• Experience in deg and managing high-load systems with high SLA levels.
• Expertise in load testing and performance optimization.
• Strong background in automated monitoring and notification systems.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data and Machine Learning.
• Deep knowledge of data structures and algorithms.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally.
• English C1 or above, Russian C1 or above.

• Key-value storages (e.g., Redis)

• GitLab CI
