Job Purpose
We are looking for an enthusiastic Corporate Paralegal to join our growing PHINIA legal team! This position will provide the right candidate with ample opportunity to learn new areas of law in an exciting fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the Americas Legal team with day-to-day activities, including baseline contract reviews, invoice tracking/budgeting support, UCC filings, correspondence, etc.
- Maintain a comprehensive overview of the PHINIA corporate structure, including directorships. Knowledge of HQue a plus.
- Collaborate with external and internal legal service providers to maintaining accurate and up to date corporate records and produce regular corporate documents, including board resolutions, minutes etc. and subsidiary reports for the US corporate structure.
- Support ethics and compliance activities including the compliance hotline, internal investigations, and third-party due diligence.
- Handle notarization, apostilling, consularization, and other document certification procedures.
- Provide litigation support as needed including insurance notifications, legal holds, etc.
Basic Requirements
What we’re looking for
- 3+ years’ experience in a Corporate Law department or law firm including exposure to corporate governance
- Strong communications skills and demonstrated interpersonal and communication skills and a commitment to professionalism and collegiality
- Excellent organizational and client-service skills, with the ability to multi-task XXXX XXXX efforts to simultaneously meet multiple deadlines and expectations
- Self-motivated and willing to take initiative
Preferred Qualifications
- BS degree or Paralegal studies preferred
- Familiarity with the automotive industry
- Thorough knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office products (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, and Entity Management Systems
