Role Overview You'll join our Gothenburg-based Media software engineering organization, working closely with Product Owners, UX, backend engineers, and stakeholders across Magnet. You’ll work within a team that is collaborative, supportive, and deeply mission‑focused, combining strong engineering skills with a commitment to building high‑impact user experiences. What You’ll Do- Design, build, and maintain a modern frontend application using React and TypeScript;
- Translate UX/UI concepts (e.g., Figma) into high‑quality, intuitive, and responsive user interfaces;
- Contribute to the evolution of our frontend architecture, component libraries, and design systems;
- Take ownership from concept to deployment, ensuring performance, accessibility, and scalability;
- Collaborate closely with backend engineers to deliver seamless, end‑to‑end product functionality;
- Participate in code reviews, promote frontend best practices, and mentor other developers;
- Work in an agile environment with cross‑functional teams focused on delivering secure and impactful features that support investigators worldwide. What We’re Looking For- 5+ years of hands‑on professional frontend development experience with React;
- Experience with Cypress or similar end‑to‑end testing frameworks;
- Experience consuming and integrating with backend services. Nice to Have Skills- Backend experience in C# /.NET;
- Experience with Kubernetes;
- Experience with Keycloak authentication;
- Knowledge of AWS services;
- Experience using Claude Code or other AI‑assisted development tools. Compensation & Benefits
The Compensation range is for the primary location for which the job is posted. Please note that the actual compensation may vary depending on location and job-related factors such as qualifications, experience, knowledge and skills. If the compensation structure for the role includes an incentive component (i.e. most Sales roles) the range below represents total target compensation (TTC) (base salary + variable).
