Backend Engineer - User Platform
Description
We are looking for talented, engaged software engineers to join our teams who are passionate about working on highly available, low latency backend services that form the backbone of our authentication experience for hundreds of millions of users across the globe. You’ll be directly helping with the evolution of Spotify’s overall authentication infrastructure while also being able to innovate to create better, more seamless user experiences to help users access Spotify.
What You'll Do
Work across the stack in a cross-functional team that helps deliver a magical experience to all of our users around the world Design, develop, deploy and optimize high-efficiency backend services with a focus on high availability, low latency, and scalability Deliver testable, maintainable, and high-quality code Share knowledge, promote standard methodologies, and collaborate with equally passionate members of your team Take operational responsibility for the services that are owned by your team, potentially including taking part in an on-call rotation Work in an environment that thrives with diversity and one that cultivates your individual growth by exposing you to exciting problems, a network of equally skilled peers, and the ability to acquire new skills through various mechanisms outside your day-to-day work.
Who You Are

Where You'll Be
This role is based in London. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
