What You'll Do
Work closely with an outstanding team of backend, iOS, and Android engineers to build new services and enhance existing systems that power Fandom at Spotify Act as a thought partner to Product Managers and Designers to shape globally scalable solutions that align with long-term product goals Deliver high-quality technical solutions on time, ensuring they meet business needs and uphold operational excellence Collaborate with key internal partners and stakeholders to design backend systems and APIs that scale effectively as our products and user base grow
Who You Are
You have at least two years of experience as a backend engineer and are eager to accelerate your growth in a supportive, senior-led team. You have hands-on experience with Java and building APIs, ideally with gRPC. You bring experience with, or a strong interest in learning, modern cloud and data technologies, including Google Cloud Platform and Kubernetes. You possess a solid foundation in system design, data structures, and algorithms, and are driven by a curiosity to learn and deepen your expertise. You are a strong collaborator who enjoys working with internal partners to understand their needs and build the right solutions.
Where You'll Be
This role is based in London or Stockholm. We offer you the flexibility to work where you work best! There will be some in person meetings, but still allows for flexibility to work from home.
